Monthly online timed auction

Regular customers will know that Clitheroe Auction has had regular sales of rural & domestic bygones and architectural salvage for over twenty years; previously under the brand of Silverwoods. For the last few years this has moved to a monthly online sale in conjunction with plant, machinery and equipment.

In Summer 2023 a 3000 sq ft new building will be completed to accommodate the sale of these lots in a designated space followed by its own special monthly catalogue.   All sales are held as an online timed auction through this website on Auctionmarts.com.

Important Notes & Procedure for Vendors/Buyers

Vendors

All Vendors should note the following before bringing lots for entry. 

• We reserve the right to refuse objects of low value that either may be unsold, or not reach the minimum commission of £3.00; this equates to an estimated minimum value of  £30 for small tools and equipment.
• Please note from the the minimum commission on all sold/unsold lots is now £3.00
• Please note no deliveries on Wednesdays
• Vendors must collect their Unsold items within the week following the Sale or they will be re-entered for the next auction    
• Please call the office to arrange a booking for all deliveries 

Buyers

• All customers, in order to make a bid, will need to register with the online platform auctionmarts.com here.
• Items will then be catalogued and online for the weekend prior to the Sale
• Viewing of the Sale will be on Thursday, Friday and Saturday Morning prior to the Auction.  
• Buyers can pay for and collect their items on the Monday following the Sale from 9am and throughout the week at specified times and by appointment, and will be contacted by the office - or call us on 01200 423325  to arrange payment and collection.  
• Please note no collections on Wednesdays 
• All lots must be paid for and collected within one week of the Sale.
• Please call the office to arrange a booking for all deliveries
