With the creation of a one acre secure compound protected by CCTV  and the release of 10,000 sq ft of undercover warehousing for equipment we are now able to accept entries of items three weeks leading up to the monthly auction.

It is to the Vendors advantage to enter larger Lots of Machinery well in advance of the auction allowing us to prepare a catalogue, advertise on the internet, in the press and media to attract as many buyers to the sale on the day.

Timed Online Machinery Sale Procedure  

For Vendors

All Vendors should note the following before bringing lots for entry. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse objects of low value that either may be unsold, or not reach the minimum commission of £4.00; this equates to an estimated minimum value of  £40 for small tools and equipment.
  • We ask Vendors to put such items to one side until the Mart conducts live auctions of small tools, salvage and equipment of lower value where administrative costs of a timed auction are reduced. Such sales are planned for Wednesday's in late Summer.
  • We request Vendors do not bring any tyres for sale unless they are on a rim with at least 50% tread.
  • Please note from the the minimum commission on all sold/unsold lots is now £4.
  • Please note no deliveries on Wednesdays

  • Vendors must collect their Unsold items the Thursday or Friday following the Sale or they will be re-entered for the next auction  
  • Please call the office to arrange a booking for all deliveries 
  • Buyers

    • All customers, in order to make a bid, will need to register with the online platform here.
    • Items will then be catalogued and online for the weekend prior to the Sale
    • Viewing of the Sale will be on Thursday, Friday and Saturday Morning prior to the Auction.   
    • The Timed Sale will run from Thursday 18th November  - Saturday 20th November
    • Buyers can pay for and collect their items on the Monday following the Sale from 9am and throughout the week at specified times and by appointment, and will be contacted by the office - or call us on 01200 423325  to arrange payment and collection.  
    • Please note no collections on Wednesdays 
    • All lots must be paid for and collected within one week of the Sale.
