Rural Business Centre was launched with the purpose of providing our customers with the convenience of a full range of professional services located at the Auction including land agent, accountants, lawyer and financial adviser.

In addition, a modern conference room has been created for networking events, sales meeting, appraisals, interviews, product launch or training. The Pendle View Room is ideal for a large seminar of 50 people, or for smaller round table meetings. The auction café and bar adjoin these facilities to cater for all events.

Please see the briefing paper below for an outline of the requirements for all movements of finished, store and breeding stock originating from both outside and inside of the Restricted Zone (RZ).

Please be reminded (as detailed in the attached):

Animals from the RZ entering a livestock market accompanied by the general licence (EXD634) must go for immediate slaughter and cannot move to any other premises to live.
A specific licence, EXD632 (and pre-movement testing for some animals, see attached), is required for any animals moving from within the RZ and going onto live outside of the RZ
