Office & Sales Administrator (Full-Time)
Clitheroe Auction Mart are pleased to announce an exciting and dynamic job opportunity in business administration. The role combines hands on experience in all aspects of office administration of auction sales, and dealing with customers to deliver a first-class service.
Key responsibilities:
Provide essential administrative support to all our auction sales of livestock & machinery as a part of a team.
Perform all aspects of administration including data input, booking in, photography and the cataloguing of sales; with precision in data entry.
Utilise the Newline auction software (for which training will be given); also, to be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel in supporting sales and marketing tasks.
Handle customer enquiries, answer incoming phone calls and as appropriate accurately deliver messages to other members of the team.
Face to face transactions with customers and dealing with their cash, cheques and credit/debit card payments
Prepare and organise documents to maintain an organised digital and hard copy filing system; archiving old files.
Represent the business with a strong commitment to delivering a first-class customer service.
While a knowledge of farming and agricultural sale regulations would be an advantage; it is not essential. However, enthusiasm, adaptability and the ability to work in a team under pressure are the skills we are seeking and would suit someone who is as happy to work outdoors as well as within the office. We believe that 3 years+ experience in administration is preferred for this dynamic and exciting role.
